Bitfinity’s Blockchain Bash: Second Edition!
Explore the cutting-edge technologies shaping the Bitcoin ecosystem with APRO Oracle, BVM, Symmetric, and Rivo, all partnering with Bitfinity. Learn how decentralized oracles, innovative blockchain services, and dynamic DeFi platforms are redefining data solutions and smart contracts on Bitcoin.
It didn’t take long before Bitfinity and Blaze (our mascot) found friends to play with. Last week we took a look at the first partners of Bitfinity, and in this fast-paced world, we examined four extra ones.
In this article, we take a look at strategic partnerships between Bitfinity and pioneering platforms like APRO Oracle, BVM, Symmetric Finance, and Rivo that are expanding the Bitcoin ecosystem far beyond its original purpose.
Join us as we delve into these groundbreaking technologies that are shaping the future of Bitcoin and connecting with Bitfinity.
Bitfinity and Apro 🤝
First in line of Bitfinity's new partners is Apro, the first blockchain oracle of the bitcoin ecosystem, engineered to meet the demands of the Bitcoin ecosystem with its rapid and economical data solutions. The oracle network stems from its advanced decentralized multi-node architecture and security measures. It has integrated multiple data sources and validation mechanisms. At present, they operate with nine nodes with servers distributed globally.
A blockchain oracle acts as a bridge between blockchains and external systems, enabling smart contracts to access and interact with external data. This capability is essential as it allows blockchains to respond to real-world events and conditions.
Apro provides reliable, fast, and cost-effective data solutions, making it an essential tool for decentralized applications (DApps) operating within the Bitcoin network. It does this by integrating off-chain computing with on-chain verification.
How Does APRO Work?
APRO operates on a sophisticated two-tier oracle network. The primary tier, known as the OCMP (Off Chain Message Protocol) network, consists of various nodes that form the oracle network itself. The secondary tier, called the Eigenlayer network, serves as a backstop.
It steps in when disputes arise between customers and the OCMP aggregator. This tier is composed of Eigenlayer AVS Operators who are chosen based on their strong historical reliability scores or enhanced security capabilities compared to the first tier.
The system also includes a staking mechanism similar to a margin system, where nodes must deposit a margin that can be forfeited under certain conditions, such as deviation from the majority data reports or erroneous escalations to the second-tier network.
APRO Data Feeds provide a straightforward mechanism for smart contracts to access asset pricing data. Each price feed has an on-chain address and functions that allow contracts to read pricing data directly from that address.

Bitfinity and Symmetric Finance 🤝
Second in line is Symmetric, a project that operates as a multichain Automated Market Maker (AMM), Decentralized Exchange (DEX), and non-custodial portfolio manager. It aims to make decentralized finance (DeFi) accessible across multiple blockchains.
The protocol serves as a cutting-edge platform in the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector, and provides users with a multifaceted approach to trading and managing their digital assets. To date, Symmetric has facilitated over 1 million trades across four networks and supports trading with more than 30 different tokens. They have also distributed over $1 million in rewards to their users.
Symmetric has been proactive in integrating with other platforms to expand its reach and functionality. For example, they have curated DeFi opportunities on Meter.io, which encourages users to explore different financial instruments through Symmetric's user-friendly DEX interface.
Symmetric introduces a variety of options for liquidity pools beyond the traditional 50/50 pools. Here are some of the unique configurations available on Symmetric:
- Custom Weight Pools: Users can set up pools with custom weight ratios like 80/20, golden ratio, or other desired proportions.
- Multi-Asset Pools: Pools can include up to 8 different assets, offering broader diversification and flexibility.
- Composable Stable Pools: These pools are designed for low slippage swaps on soft pegged or correlated assets.
Fees on Symmetric v3 are predominantly generated from swap fees, which are incurred during trading on the platform. Additionally, the protocol earns revenue through flash loans and the yield generated on wrapped tokens.

Bitfinity and Rivo 🤝
As the third project, Bitfinity welcomes Rivo, a gateway to the decentralized finance world that integrates six networks and top-notch protocols. It provides easy access to top DeFi products through a single interface.
Just like Symmetric, Rivo is a crypto investing platform that integrates a multichain smart-contract wallet with a yield marketplace, facilitating straightforward access to DeFi earnings.
A secure environment for managing your DeFi portfolio:
- Self-custodial: No access to user’s funds or private keys.
- Pre-selected Strategies: Analyzing thousands of protocols to select strategies with the best risk-reward ratio.
- ZAPs: Enter and exit strategies in one click, paying gas with any token (stablecoins).
- Cross-chain: Make cross-chain swaps in one click with real-time fraud monitoring.
The CEO of Rivo, brings 15 years of high-tech management experience and has successfully launched tech products used by over 10 million users. His experience includes scaling to 50,000 active investors from 83 countries.
Revo's ultimate aim is to simplify the entire Web 3 investment cycle. By integrating all facets of the investment process into a single platform. It brands itself as a one-click gateway to the decentralized finance (DeFi) world.
The recent partnership with Bitfinity Network aims to enhance Rivo's cross-chain integrations, providing users with improved access to Bitcoin and EVM protocols.
